Farang – original Thai food from Sebby Holmes and the team, showcasing the very best fresh Thai and British produce.

Farang began in 2015 when chef Sebby Holmes began trading at street food markets out the back of his car throughout London. A year later he took up residency in Farang’s current home in Highbury & Islington as a pop-up. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently and since then it has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The team also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and freshness of ingredients.

Farang is a team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought their passion and skills to the table.

Farang has never taken any funding or investment and literally built itself up from the boot of a car. Please come and check out our awesome restaurant space in Highbury & Islington - we recommend you try the feasting menu.
